HP iPAQ hw6500 Mobile Messenger Series Storage Card Rename Utility 1.1.0 Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition.

This package contains the Storage Card Rename Utility for the listed HP iPAQ hw6500 Mobile Messenger Series models (English language only) and operating systems. NOTE: Confirming the iPAQ model ID number before starting to download and install this package helps to prevent system errors. Use either of the following two methods to confirm the HP iPAQ model ID: 1. Power On the HP iPAQ handheld and tap Start, then tap Settings, then tap the System tab, then tap HP Asset Viewer, and then tap the System tab. Look for "Model ID: hp iPAQ hw65XXx". 2. With the HP iPAQ handheld Powered Off, remove the battery cover and the battery. The model ID is printed on a sticker that is located under the battery. Look for "model#:hw65XXx". Be sure to reinsert the battery promptly to avoid data loss. Make sure that this package supports the model ID identified for the HP iPAQ handheld to be updated.

ENHANCEMENT(S):- Adds the ability to change the "SD Card" or "Mini-SD Card" storage naming convention to "Storage Card" in order to enable the storing of an Inbox Attachment to the external storage card. Currently, a software issue prevents storing attachments to an external storage card having a name of "SD Card" or "Mini-SD Card."

PREREQUISITES: - Microsoft ActiveSync 3.8 (or later) is required.
