HP Compaq iPAQ h3730 BIOS 2.20 Windows Pocket PC 2002.

This SoftPaq contains the ROM Update Utility (RUU) and ROM image for the iPAQ H3700 Series Pocket PC 2002. The Utility performs the following:

  • Replaces the current ROM image on your device with an updated version.
  • Backs up your current ROM image, if desired.
  • Restores a previous ROM image, if desired.

    IMPORTANT: This update utility is designed to replace the current ROM image and erase the partnership and all user data and programs on your iPAQ Pocket PC. It is important for you to read and understand the information in the Readme file included with this update.

    This ROM version contains the following previously released driver updates and patches for the models listed:

  • iPAQ H3600/3700 Series Driver Updates
  • iPAQ Pocket PC 2002 End User Update (EUU) Version 1.00
  • iPAQ H3XXX Bluetooth Service Manager V1.1

    ENHANCEMENTS:

  • ClearType legibility
  • Temporary Backlight Off using the power button
  • Improved Screen Calibration test
  • Improved Virtual Memory utilization
  • Added support for Microsoft Server ActiveSync client
  • All enhancements included in EUU Version 1.00

    FIXES:

  • The error message “Project1.vb requires Visual Basic for Windows CE version 2.0 (\windows\pvbhost2.dll) which is not installed.” (French only)
