HP iPAQ 112 Classic Handheld BIOS 1.01.06 Windows Mobile 6.

This package contains English ROM Update Utility (RUU) and ROM image for the listed iPAQ Classic Handheld models and operating system.

IMPORTANT: Back up all your data as this ROM update performs a clean reset on your HP iPAQ. A clean reset restores the device to its factory settings and clears all the user applications and data.

NOTE: The package contains RUU only for products supporting the following SKU IDs. Supported SKU IDs: FA979AA#ABA, FA980AA#ABA, FA982AA#ABB, FA982AT#ABB, FA981AA#ABG, FA981AA#ARE, FA981AA#ACJ, FA981AA#UUF. To find the Product ID on the device, tap Start -> Setting -> Asset Viewer -> System.

Supported Models: HP iPAQ 110 Classic Handheld, HP iPAQ 111 Classic Handheld, HP iPAQ 112 Classic Handheld, HP iPAQ 114 Classic Handheld, HP iPAQ 116 Classic Handheld.

    FIXES:

  • Fixes issue where certain iPAQ 100 Classic Handheld series devices with a certain Marvell CPU fails to wake up with power button while in suspend mode.
  • Fixes issue where iPAQ 100 Classic Handheld series devices fails to connect to Access Points using WPA2 security with PEAP or TLS protocol.
  • Fixes a reconnection issue if an access point's security mode is changed.
  • Fixes issue of compatibility problem with HP AP 420.
  • Fixes issue where PEAP/EAP settings are lost after USB sync, when wireless connection is not allowed on device when connected to the desktop.
  • Fixes issue where wireless NIC ad-hoc connection become "Unavailable" while trying to connect AP and wireless card at the same time.
  • Fixes UI issues in Bluetooth Phone Manager.
  • Fixes issue where white screen displays while launching Backlight and Power application.
  • Fixes issue where stereo headset when plugged into the device interferes with the BT activity.
  • Fixes issue of the card status problem while inserting extension card, and then quickly suspending the device.
